The shelter is easy to set up, with a unique pop-up design that opens in seconds. Once you're inside, the shelter offers comfortable protection from the elements, with a sewn-in water-resistant floor, air vents and a shutter for maximum airflow, and a zippered door for total containment. And the InsTent Max will stay secure even on blustery days thanks to the staking system and outside pockets, which fill with stand for extra stability. Other features include a sturdy Elasti-Cord system and interior storage compartments for your sunscreen, playing cards, and other items.

The shelter, which comes with its own carrying bag for easy transport, measures 6.4 by 4.3 by 6.4 feet (W x H x D) and weighs 8 pounds.

Short for Australian Beach Outdoor, ABO Gear opened in 1995 with a mission of making outdoor life more comfortable. In the ensuing years, the company has moved in a more pet-focused, sustainability-oriented direction. BHVF rescues dogs slated for euthanasia in local city and counter shelters and transports them to no-kill rescues across the East Coast. ABO Gear is currently based in downtown Decatur, Georgia, with a 50,000-square-foot warehouse and fulfillment center in Murphy, North Carolina.
